China: Aomori Apple Price Goes Up As Season Comes To An End

The fruit production volume in Shandong significantly declined this year because many production areas suffered from extreme weather conditions. The apple production volume declined by around 30%.
However, the production season of Aomori apples starts later than the production seasons of other apple varieties, and the production volume is more or less the same as in previous years. Manager Liu of Shandong Aomori Fresh Fruit Supply Chain Co., Ltd., recently talked about the current conditions in the Aomori apple production areas and the Chinese apple market.
